TMNT: Tournament Fighters is a 1993 fighting game developed by Konami for the NES. Featuring characters from the TMNT universe, it offers one-on-one combat with special moves and unique stages. The game includes story modes for each turtle and a versus mode for multiplayer battles.

As the NES's answer to Street Fighter II, Tournament Fighters implemented a six-button fighting system using NES controller combinations for special moves.
The game features 7 playable characters including all four turtles (Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, Raphael) plus three original characters created specifically for this game.
Though overshadowed by its SNES counterpart, the NES version was praised for pushing the limits of the 8-bit system with large character sprites and fluid animations.
