HackFire Emblem: Cerulean Crescent is a complete ROM hack of Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones, featuring an entirely new continent, story, and cast of characters. Players command the royal siblings of the kingdom of Aqualis as they uncover a conspiracy involving an ancient lunar artifact called the Cerulean Crescent.

The hack spans 28 chapters across two story routes, similar to The Sacred Stones' branching narrative. Players follow Prince Valerio and Princess Celestine of Aqualis, who each have unique perspectives on the growing conflict with the neighboring empire of Solarius. New gameplay mechanics include the Tidal system, where certain terrain tiles change during battle based on the phase of the moon tracked through the chapter timer. Water-based classes such as Tidal Mage and Corsair have been added, along with six new magical anima types tied to lunar cycles. The hack also introduces a forging system that allows weapon enhancements using moonstone shards collected from enemies.
