About This Retro Game
The 8-bit Master System version adapts the Mega Drive/Genesis classic with scaled-down graphics but retains the core gameplay. Features simplified versions of the iconic soundtrack and special police backup attacks.
Though missing two-player co-op, this port introduced new stage designs and enemy patterns exclusive to the 8-bit version. The combat system includes punches, kicks, throws, and jump attacks.
Considered one of the best beat 'em ups on Master System, it demonstrated the hardware's capabilities with smooth scrolling and large character sprites uncommon for 8-bit systems.
