About This Retro Game
Developed as Capcom's answer to Mario Kart, Battle & Chase incorporates classic Mega Man weapons like the Mega Buster into racing mechanics. Each character has unique stats and special abilities tied to their original game counterparts.
The game includes a Championship mode, Time Attack, and multiplayer for up to 2 players. Tracks feature hazards and shortcuts inspired by Mega Man stages, with boss vehicles appearing as obstacles.
Though criticized for floaty physics and limited content, it gained cult status for its charming presentation and faithful Mega Man fanservice. It was the only Mega Man racing game until 2023's Mega Man X DiVE Offline.
