About This Retro Game
In Warped, Crash must recover the 25 powerful Crystals before Doctor Neo Cortex and Uka Uka can use them to dominate the world. The game introduced time-twisting levels set in ancient Egypt, medieval Europe, futuristic cities, and more.
New gameplay elements included motorcycles, planes, jetskis, and the ability to play as Crash's sister Coco. The game also introduced the Super Body power-up granting invincibility and the Double Jump ability.
Considered one of the best PlayStation platformers, Warped refined the series' formula with tighter controls, more varied levels, and improved graphics while keeping the challenging difficulty the series was known for.
